BE PATIENT

Hey,

Let me tell you something about a season in my life when nothing seemed to move forward.

It was a stretch of months that felt like years. Every morning I’d wake up with hope, and every night I’d like down wondering if I was even moving at all. I’d watch others celebrate their wins. New jobs, launched project, milestones reached, and I’d smile for them, genuinely. But in the quiet, I’d wonder:

“When will it be my turn?”

Maybe you know that feeling too.

The one where you check your phone, hoping for good news, but find only silence. Where you work late, not because you have to, but because going home feels like admitting nothing changed today. Then people ask, “So what's new?” and you realize you've been telling the same story for months.

I remember when I sitting in the chair, one evening after another long day. I wasn’t cry. I wasn't angry. I was just ….. still. The kind of stillness that comes when you're tired of pushing and tired of waiting, all at once. I kept thinking, “Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe I'm just not meant for this.”

But here's what that season taught me, slowly and gently:

Waiting Isn't Wasting.

The time between where you are an where you want to be isn’t empty space. But it's filling space. It's where your roots grow deeper so you can stand taller later. Where you learn the difference between wanting something and being ready for it.

The bamboo that grows 90 feet in five weeks spent five years building its roots underground, unseen.

—Ancient growth principle

I couldn’t see it then, but all that stillness was making me stronger in ways applause never could. And you know what? That time did pas. Opportunities did come. Doors did open.

Not because you suddenly became someone else. But because you become more yourself. More grounded, more sure, more ready.

And when the time finally came, we’ll realized it wasn't late. It was right on time. Because the version of ourselves from a year before we wouldn’t have known what we do with it.

So if you're in your own season of waiting right now, I want you to hear this:

Your time is coming.

Not because you're lucky, but because you're consistent.

Not because you're perfect, but because you're persistent.

Not because the world owes you, but because you're doing the work even when the world isn't looking.

Don’t rush. Don't force it. Don't pretend you're not tired.

Just keep going.

One small thing at a time. One day at a time.

And one day, you'll look up and realize you're no longer waiting. You're living what you once dreamed of. And you'll understand why it tool exactly as long as it did.

Until then, be patient with yourself. Be kind to your journey. And remember: you're not behind. You're being prepared.

I'm right here with you, walking this path too.

Stay Patient
